Sculptra™

A unique and long-lasting injectable, Sculptra™ actually stimulates the body to produce new collagen and underlying tissue, thereby creating a fuller, more youthful appearance.  Dr. O'Daniel uses it to diminish lines or add volume to all parts of the face, including the areas around the eyes and lips, between the mouth and nose, the cheeks and neck.

Sculptra™ results are natural-looking, gradually correcting the depression in the skin, significantly increasing skin thickness, and improving the appearance of folds and sunken areas.  After applying a topical numbing cream, Dr. O'Daniel will inject the Sculptra into the areas being treated.  After the initial, post-procedure swelling goes down, patients will see an improvement in skin volume in a few weeks.

Typically, at least two injection sessions take place to achieve desired results.  While Sculptra™ injections can last as long as two years, Dr. O'Daniel's patients may want to receive minor touch-up treatments to maintain the desired effect.

Dr. O'Daniel has recently published his technique for correction of atrophic acne scars that worsen as the face ages.  He combines the injection of Sculptra at the time of a facelift followed by fractioned resurfacing of the facial skin.
