Forehead creases, deep vertical furrows, and drooping brows that hood the eyes can make a person appear angry, sad or tired.  A brow lift (forehead lift) procedure minimizes these effects of aging, restoring a relaxed, refreshed and more youthful visage.  In this procedure, Dr. O'Daniel removes or alters the muscles and tissues that cause the furrowing or drooping in order to smooth the forehead, raise the tail of the eyebrows and minimize frown lines, reshaping the brow based on his facial analysis of the individual patient.  The goal is to create a youthful shape to the brow without an over-elevated brow.

Since 1995, Dr. O'Daniel has used endoscopic surgery, which allows him to perform the procedure with several tiny incisions, to reshape the brow.  Endoscope surgery prevents shifting of the hairline, and minimizes the risk of hair loss and permanent sensory changes in the scalp.  This procedure is commonly performed on an outpatient basis, with return to work and social activities within 10 days.
