Neck Lift
Neck rejuvenation can dramatically improve the appearance of the neck and refine the jaw line by removing excess fleshiness or sagging skin, visible vertical bands, and "double-chin" fatty deposits. A neck lift may be done by itself or as part of a facelift procedure.
Dr. O'Daniel uses a combination of techniques, depending on the patient's needs, including liposuction or a limited-incision approach that allows muscle and fat sculpting. Typically, small incisions are made under or behind the ears and under the chin to remove excess skin, fat and muscle, which are then repositioned and sutured into place. The result provides a new, pleasing neck and jaw line, with incisions hidden inconspicuously behind the ears. Necklift procedures are typically performed on an outpatient basis, with mild sedation. A return to "life as prior to surgery" is tyically one week.
