The nose is the most prominent feature on the face, and its size and shape may be the most defining characteristic of a person's visage - for better or worse.  Nose reshaping lets the skilled surgeon sculpt the nose to complement and balance the other features of the face, reducing or increasing the size of the nose, changing the shape of the tip or the bridge, narrowing the span of the nostrils, or changing the angle between the nose and upper lip.

Dr. O'Daniel uses both an open rhinoplasty technique as well as a closed technique.  The decision for the specific technique is determined by the needed changes expected from the operation.

For 25 years, Dr. O'Daniel has used his skills as both surgeon and fine artist to sculpt a nose that harmonizes beautifully with the rest of the patient's face, in perfect balance with the chin and other facial features.  Additionally, with dual board certification in Plastic Surgery and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Dr. O'Daniel is eminently qualified to correct birth defects or improve nasal airways.

Dr. O'Daniel typically performs nose reshaping at our state-of-the-art, office-based Ambulatory Surgery Center.  Most patients are able to return to work after 7-10 days.
