Personal Philosophy

Dr. O'Daniel is a pediatric surgeon as well as a fellowship-trained craniofacial surgeon

His double board certification in plastic surgery and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery has given him unique skills and expertise that are used to achieve aesthetic correction of congenital deformities of the face.

Our most deserving patients - our children

The goals of correction of congenital deformities are the same as with facial cosmetic surgery - to create a natural appearance that removes the stigmata of the facial deformity while minimizing the scars and signs of surgery.  Dr. O'Daniel feels it is important for plastic surgeons to not only use their God-given surgical and artistic skills to achieve dramatic results in cosmetic surgery but to also avail these skills to our most deserving patients - our children!

As director of The Louisville Cleft and Craniofacial Team, Dr. O'Daniel still directs a considerable amount of his surgical skills to patients with congenital abnormalities of the face.
