How did you choose Dr. O'Daniel?
My name is David Self, and I’m a patient of Dr. O’Daniel
. I met him probably six, seven years ago. Another doctor had come to Louisville to learn plastic surgery. Wanted to rent a house I had for sale, and I didn’t want to rent it because it had been completely renovated. He kept asking me. He says, please, kept nagging, stopping, calling. One day I said, “I’ll tell you what. Where do you live? I’ll just follow you there.” I followed him to his house, went inside, looked. They had two small children. House was neat, clean. They took their shoes off, because I had just put new hardwood floors in also. I said, “Okay. How long are you going to be here?” He said, “About two years.” I said, “All right. I’ll wait two years before I sell it.”
Then I developed the hanging under the chin. You look at all your friends that are older, because I’m older. I’m 70 years old. I thought, hell, I can’t look like that. I asked him. I said, “Who would you recommend? You’re down there studying.” He told me Dr. O’Daniels to who he was studying under. I said, “Make me an appointment. I want to go talk to him.” And, I did. In talking to him, I could tell he had a lot of passion about what he did. It was more to him than just the money. Then I started asking questions of other people I knew that had surgery. Some of them had heard about him. There was another doctor here at that time that everyone was raving about. His name was Celebrezze. I didn’t like the guy. The guy had an attitude. He was arrogant. He was about himself and about money, so I went to Dr. O’Daniels. Thought he did great, absolutely great.
